OVERVIEW
To properly identify and label all capital equipment and to conduct physical inventories at all district sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have current, or ability to obtain, Arizona driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Computer proficiency to include use of basic software applications (Word, Excel, etc) and iVisions with query experience preferred
- Clerical and data entry experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with district personnel and outside agencies
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with district employees and public
- Ability to safely lift up to and including 75 -100 pounds
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate, process and conduct physical inventories at all District schools and/or departments
- Ensure all capital equipment for schools and/or departments is properly identified
- Tactfully handle disputes and complaints; communicate with site and department administrators
- Research and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain file for approved available loaner equipment
- Work with MDC personnel to process transfers and disposals
- Acquire knowledge of District accounting code system
- Provide statistical data as required
- Complete data entry for movement of assets
- Process used surplus requests
- Regular and on-time attendance required
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
- Retrieve and compile information as required for various agencies
- Maintain property pictorial reference and cross reference library
- Prepare property for auction and recycling
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
- Pick up and deliver used surplus equipment
